This role plays a key part in promoting operational integrity by monitoring regulatory changes, identifying potential risks, and collaborating across departments to support compliance excellence.This is a highly visible role for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated by solving complex operational challenges in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport license applications, renewals, and updates for cannabis operations in PA and NJMaintain documentation and internal systems related to state filings, facility records, and operational standardsMonitor regulatory changes and assist in communicating updates to internal stakeholdersAssist in preparation for site inspections, audits, and regulatory agency inquiriesCoordinate internal reviews of procedures and records to ensure alignment with required protocolsTrack incidents, document corrective actions, and follow up on operational integrity issuesAssist with the creation, maintenance, and distribution of SOPs and regulatory documentationConduct walkthroughs of facilities to identify potential gaps and partner with teams to resolve issues in real timeMaintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive business, personnel, and licensing informationCollaborate with leaders across cultivation, production, dispensary, and corporate teams to support consistency and complianceEffective Communication ExpectationsClearly communicate regulatory requirements and operational guidance to team members at all levelsBuild professional, productive relationships with regulators and inspectorsProvide clear, actionable recommendations that help teams stay aligned and preparedEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience2-4 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory-focused roleWorking knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements; cannabis industry experience strongly preferredExperience conducting audits, developing SOPs, and managing corrective actionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organization and attention to detailAbility to analyze issues and implement practical solutionsProficiency with compliance systems, spreadsheets, and standard office softwareAbility to collaborate across departments and with external partnersTravel may be required for inspections, audits, or meetings across NJ and PASchedule flexibility based on business needsWho Thrives HereThis role is ideal for someone who:Takes ownership instead of waiting for directionEnjoys finding solutions before problems escalateCan balance detail work with big-picture thinkingWants to help shape processes in a growing organizationUnderstands that integrity and accountability drive long-term success
