Reports to: Camp Coordinator, Director of Strategic Programs Schedule: Temporary; Monday through Friday; June 1st to Friday, June 26th.Description: Sports and Games is a sports-themed camp for students in grades 4-8. Primary Responsibilities:Assist with planning daily camp activities and carpool drop-off and pick-upParticipate in camp activities and assigned dutiesEnforce camp rules so that all attendees have a safe and enjoyable camp experienceMaintain the facilities and equipment, keeping them clean and organizedAssist in any area when neededDuring field trips, oversee camper behavior and participation to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experienceSupervise students in the swimming pool, which may include being in the pool. Position Requirements (knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):Outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and follow-up required Ability to be flexible, resourceful, and work on a variety of projects simultaneouslySuperior employee service skills, including the ability to be an excellent listener and be sympathetic to student or parent concernsFlexible with work schedule and hours during the workdayAt least 15 years of ageBe able to attend all three weeks of the Sports and Games camp.
