As a leading social enterprise, we reinvest retail and business revenues into workforce development, education, and community-based services that elevate human potential.The Marketing Communications & Digital Strategy Manager owns the clarity, consistency, and strategic alignment of Ohio Valley Goodwill's messaging across all channels. This role translates enterprise priorities into cohesive campaigns and communications across social media, email, website, internal messaging, and community outreach. Bridging strategy and execution, this role ensures Retail, Mission Services, and Development messaging is aligned, performance-driven, and audience-specific. Operating with a high degree of independence, this position provides messaging leadership and serves as the quality-control gatekeeper for brand voice and tone across the enterprise.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field3-6+ years of experience in marketing communications or digital strategyDemonstrated experience developing messaging frameworks and integrated campaignsExperience with email marketing platforms and analytics toolsProven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong writing portfolio demonstrating clarity, persuasion, and audience targetingQUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skillsStrong understanding of digital channel strategy (social, email, web)Experience building and managing content calendarsAbility to analyze performance metrics and optimize messagingExperience with audience segmentation and lifecycle communicationsStrong cross-functional collaboration skillsHigh attention to brand tone and voice consistencyStrategic thinker who can translate enterprise priorities into executable communicationsAbility to prioritize and manage competing deadlinesESSENTIAL DUTIES:Messaging Strategy & Campaign Leadership (30%)Develop messaging frameworks for:Retail promotionsWorkforce development initiativesCommunity impact storiesEnterprise campaignsWrite and edit high-level communications including campaign messaging, executive communications, and internal messagingEnsure voice consistency across departments and initiativesDigital Channel Ownership (30%)Own and manage the enterprise content calendar across social and email channelsGuide channel strategy, cadence, and audience targetingReview analytics and optimize performance across platformsOversee website messaging quality, clarity, and alignmentEmail & Audience Segmentation (20%)Develop segmented email strategies aligned to Retail, Mission, and Development goalsWrite and deploy email campaignsAnalyze open rates, click-through rates, and conversion performanceAlign messaging strategy with donor development and retail revenue objectivesCross-Department Messaging Alignment (20%)Coordinate messaging across:RetailMission ServicesDevelopmentExecutive communicationsServe as brand tone and messaging gatekeeperSupport departments in refining communications for clarity, impact, and consistencyPERODICAL DUTIES:Support major retail campaigns and store openingsAssist with philanthropic communications initiativesContribute to annual enterprise messaging plansSupport internal communication initiativesRefine and update brand messaging guidelines as neededAssist with special strategic initiatives as assigned WORK HOURS & BENEFITSThis is a full-time salaried position.
