This role will drive revenue and maintain concept relevancy through the creation of consistent activations and programming in collaboration with venue marketing and operations teams.Director of Nightlife Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Oversee the development and consistent delivery of nightlife activations and operations. This role will oversee the nightlife marketing and operational strategy for the property.• Build consistent weekly, monthly, and quarterly nightlife programming throughout the district in collaboration with venue marketing manager and venue operations teams that drive revenue and concept relevancy. • Develop and oversee marketing plans and establish annual marketing budgets and reporting for nightlife activations for KC Live! • Ensure all nightlife marketing plans and initiatives are executed on time and on budget throughout the year.• Provide strategic insight and advice to venue marketing managers on venue marketing plans, promotions, campaigns, outreach programs, and event marketing as it relates to nightlife. • Monitor, optimize, and report on all nightlife marketing activity; identify operational action adjustments and marketing opportunities where necessary to ensure optimization for maximum performance, reach, and return on investment. • Evaluate the effectiveness of key marketing activities in terms of sales results, consumer response, publicity value, and community engagement. This includes national nightlife programs and ticketed events.• Maintain proper staffing levels to maximize sales.• Maintain 90+ third party "shop" scores.• Manage Office Systems including cash handling, office management.• Maximize sales on event day and game day operations including pre/post event activities.• Achieve or exceed P&L objectives per pre-determined projections and company expectations.• Manage facility R&M including PM, warrantee work, daily cleaning, repairs and associated budgets.• Maintain the POS and audit operations.Director of Nightlife Qualifications• 5 years' experience in nightlife management.• 4 year college degree or equivalent and/or course work in restaurant management preferred. Must be at least age 21 and speak fluent English.• Proven ability to lead a team and portray good people management.• Proven ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in writing, as well as listen to fellow employees, guests and third parties.• Must be flexible and adaptable to change.• Possess exceptional time management and organizational skills.• Must be internally motivated and detail oriented and have a passion for teaching others.• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
