This role serves as a key partner to senior leadership and operations, ensuring that people strategies directly support business performance, growth objectives, and organizational culture.The HR Manager provides hands-on leadership across employee relations, talent management, compliance, performance management, and workforce planning while ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment practices. Acting as both a trusted advisor and an accountable owner of HR execution, this role balances strategic thinking with day-to-day problem solving in a fast-paced, field-based environment.The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to influence leaders at all levels. The HR Manager proactively identifies risks and opportunities, uses data to inform decisions, and champions initiatives that enhance employee engagement, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness. This role plays a critical part in fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performance workplace culture aligned with company values.Key Responsibilities:Partner with VP People Leader to align HR strategies with business objectivesLead initiatives related to growth, M&A and process improvementManage complex employee relations matters, investigations, and corrective actionsCoach managers on performance management, documentation, and conflict resolutionChampion organizational culture by reinforcing company values, promoting employee engagement, and supporting initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work environmentSupport onboarding, the new hire experience and retention initiativesIdentify development needs and succession planning opportunitiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsMaintain and enforce company policies, procedures, and HR best practicesLeverage HRIS and reporting tools to track trends and inform decision-makingAnalyze HR metrics related to turnover, engagement, performance, and complianceDrive continuous improvement in HR processes and systemsQualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree requiredDegree in Human Resources or related field preferred5-8+ years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibilityHR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferredStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practicesExperience supporting multi-site or field-based organizations preferredProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Benefits and PerksCompetitive payMedical, Dental, Vision insurance401(k) match toward your retirement accountOpportunities for future advancement within Elevated and APi GroupSupportive, people-first workplace with leadership development resourcesElevated is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
