DescriptionWe are looking for a results driven retail store manager to be responsible for the overall store management. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in food or retail management. Store manager responsibilities may include supervising assistant store managers. Great candidates will possess great problem solving skills and a positive and optimistic attitude. Store Manager responsibilities are:Ensuring that a high level of customer service is being offeredEnsuring compliance procedures are being followedReporting on goods trending, customer needs, budget and profitImplementing effective strategiesAdvising subordinates of any updates/ proceduresHandling customer issuesStore Manager requirements are:Previous experience in management required. 1 year minimum.Valid Food managers Certificate will be required.Demonstrated leadership skills including effectively directing and motivating a team.Participate in operation activities in a fast paced, high- volume restaurant.Assist in training of new hires; act as a role model for the team.Strong work ethic and attitude, with the motivation to achieve excellent resultsAdhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Conduct inventory of cookies on display and maintain a proper level of product availability.Use proper credit card, and cash handling procedures including counting money, cash drops, deposits, and any other monetary duties.Excellent communication skills; written and oralPhysical RequirementsMust be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs (flour and sugar are heavy!)Ability to stand, squat, bend, twist, reach, walk, or lean for entirety of shiftOccasional stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, etc. up to 50 lbsAbility to occasionally bend, twist, reach, and lift items up to 50 lbsRepetitive motion of the wrists/armsAbility to take visual and audible cues and maneuver quickly in a small space with hot oven.Salary $42,000 - $47,000 per year
