Job Description

Overview As a Process and Project Engineer, you will drive complex engineering projects from design through commissioning-combining deep technical expertise with strategic project leadership. In this role, you will lead high-impact steam, condensate, and control system projects from concept to start-up. You'll translate engineering insight into measurable customer value-overseeing design, installation, commissioning, and optimization while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and above expectations. Beyond project execution, this role provides a strong foundation for long-term growth. As you develop expertise in our products, processes, and customer operations, you will have opportunities to expand into broader engineering, technical leadership, or strategic roles within the organization. Responsibilities Lead full lifecycle engineering projects for steam, condensate, and control systems in industrial and paper manufacturing environments. Provide technical expertise in dryer drainage design and advanced control systems. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Oversee installation, commissioning, and system optimization to maximize performance and reliability. Support technical seminars, customer presentations, and consultative discussions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent industry experience). 3-5+ years of experience in process systems, steam systems, or paper manufacturing. Strong technical acumen combined with practical project management capability. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage plant operators, engineers, and leadership. Willingness to travel up to 50% and work comfortably in both office and plant environments. Why This Role Matters You'll serve as a critical link between precision engineering and customer success, solving complex operational challenges, improving system efficiency, and delivering lasting performance improvements. This is more than a project role; it's an opportunity to build deep expertise and shape a dynamic engineering career within a growing technical organization.
