Company Profile:Studio One Eleven is an integrated practice of architecture, landscape architecture and urban design dedicated to the repair of existing cities and the revitalization of communities. We focus on design and tactical interventions which improve urban livability, sustainability and engagement. Our design process begins with extensive research, analysis and community input to ensure a deeper contextual understanding and includes systematically measuring and monitoring the effect of our projects once they are complete, leading to better understanding of project outcomes and how this serves the needs of our clients and community. We are looking for a Project Manager to work in our Long Beach office.Responsibilities:Assist staff in development of industry knowledge and architectural skills by example, and by seeking out learning opportunities related to new codes, technologies, and materialsIssue and record Change of Service Agreements in a timely manner when requests are made for work that falls outside of the original scope of workProvide weekly time sheet reviewComplete monthly billing review and meet with Operations Director as requiredLead project meetings with agendas and ensure accuracy of meeting minutes, including project kickoff and post project review meetingsMaintain continuous flow of critical informationCollaborate with Project Architect and Technical Directors to complete all required quality review milestonesOversee and assure contract document submittals for agency review, agency corrections, and permit approvalDirect the preparation and issuance of bid documents, pre-bid RFI responses, and addenda as required by project contractOversee construction contract administration and attend construction meetings as required by project contractPursue new project opportunities with existing clientsQualifications:Experience leading architecture teams to deliver renovation and new construction projectsBachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred, not requiredArchitectural licensure in state where office is located preferred, not required6+ years of experience in architectural practice preferred2+ years of project management experience preferredAdvanced knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standardsAdvanced understanding of architectural design and related fieldsAdvanced knowledge of agency review process and ability to successfully complete the entitlement and permitting processAdvanced knowledge of construction contract administration processesAdvanced leadership communication abilities required to collaborate with client and development teamWorking knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD and other business software and their application to contract documentsEqual Opportunity Employer
