We listen first, build with empathy, and remain committed to solving problems that have a meaningful impact on people's lives.Role OverviewImpruvon is seeking a high-impact, results-driven Vice President of Commercial Sales to lead and scale our commercial revenue engine. This is a true player-coach role (approximately 50% individual contributor, 50% team leadership) with full ownership of revenue, pipeline generation, and forecast accuracy."Commercial" includes Residential Providers (IDD Group Homes, Supported Living, Assisted Living, Behavioral Health) and Long-Term Care Pharmacy channel partnerships.Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will manage and develop a growing team of Commercial Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Marketing leads while personally closing strategic deals. The role requires strong cross-functional partnership across Enterprise Sales, Customer Experience, Product, and Pharmacy Partnerships to drive scalable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and achieve Commercial revenue targets, including pipeline, closed-won revenue, and quarterly growthPersonally lead and close complex, multi-site healthcare dealsManage strategic accounts from discovery through negotiation and contract executionDrive predictable revenue through disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecastingBuild executive-level relationships across Residential Providers and pharmacy channel partnersSell a blended hardware + SaaS solution within regulated long-term care environmentsOwn the Commercial line of business with full accountability for revenue, pipeline health, and forecast accuracyDirectly manage and develop a team of ~3 Commercial Account Executives, ~2 Business Development Representatives, and ~1 Marketing lead.Establish clear KPIs, performance expectations, and operating rhythms across the Commercial Sales, BDR, and Marketing teamsDrive alignment between prospecting and closing efforts to improve conversion and pipeline velocityLead hiring, onboarding, and team scaling as the organization growsConduct regular forecast reviews, pipeline inspections, and structured coaching sessionsBuild and maintain a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and continuous developmentDevelop a repeatable, scalable sales motion across IDD Residential, Assisted Living, and Behavioral Health marketsEnsure strong pipeline coverage across inbound and outbound channelsPartner closely with Marketing on:Lead generation strategy and campaign alignmentFunnel performance optimizationSales enablement materials and messagingConference strategy, planning, and executionIdentify and implement scalable sales strategies to accelerate Commercial growthDrive CRM discipline, data integrity, and sales process adherenceEnsure accurate forecasting and reportingOptimize tools, systems, and workflows to improve team productivity and visibilityEstablish scalable sales playbooks and performance dashboardsDrive CRM discipline and forecasting rigor using HubSpot.Partner with the Enterprise Sales team on strategic accounts and coordinated market coverageCollaborate with the Customer Experience team to ensure seamless deal handoff and long-term customer successProvide structured market feedback to Product to influence roadmap priorities and strengthen product-market fitServe as the voice of the Commercial customer within the organizationOperate comfortably across multiple teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Skills, Knowledge, & ExperienceRequired Experience:8-12+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, including leadership responsibilitiesProven track record of exceeding revenue targets as both an individual contributor and team leaderExperience managing and developing Account Executives and outbound Business Development teamsExperience building repeatable sales processes in high-growth environmentsExperience coaching teams into consistent quota attainmentStrong forecasting discipline and CRM proficiency (HubSpot or similar)Exceptional communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skillsBuilder mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and working across many teamsAbility to travel up to 50% as needed for customer meetings, conferences, and partner engagementsPreferred Experience:Experience selling into Long-Term Care, IDD Residential Providers, Assisted Living, Behavioral Health, or other regulated healthcare environmentsExperience selling hardware + software solutionsExperience navigating multi-stakeholder healthcare sales cycles (Director of Nursing, Executive Director, Operations, C-Suite)Experience building or scaling channel partnerships, particularly in healthcare or pharmacy ecosystemsWhat Success Looks Like:Commercial revenue targets are consistently achieved or exceededPipeline generation is predictable, scalable, and aligned with marketing effortsThe Commercial Sales and BDR teams are high-performing, accountable, and developing professionallyStrong alignment exists across Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, and ProductThe Commercial go-to-market motion is structured, repeatable, and ready to scaleBenefits & CompensationAt Impruvon Health, we know our people are our greatest asset.
