UCT is looking for a talented Sr. Supervisor, Facilities to join us in Austin, TX!The Senior Supervisor, Facilities oversees daily facilities operations to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant support for semiconductor manufacturing and corporate environments. This role supervises technicians and contractors responsible for utilities, building systems, equipment maintenance, and facility services. The Senior Supervisor drives operational discipline, preventive maintenance execution, and rapid issue response while supporting capacity expansion, equipment installations, and continuous improvement to enable stable fab operations and site readiness.Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise facilities technicians and contractors performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and monitoring of facility and utility systems.Oversee operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, CDA, UPW, exhaust/scrubbers, electrical distribution, gases, waste systems).Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including EHS and cleanroom protocols.Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize operational downtime and support 24x7 manufacturing needs.Support facility readiness for expansions, tool installations, upgrades, and construction/renovation activities.Monitor facilities performance indicators (uptime, alarms, capacity, energy consumption, maintenance metrics) and drive improvement.Respond to and escalate facility incidents, alarms, and emergencies, coordinate troubleshooting and recovery actions.Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation for audits and compliance.Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, EHS, and vendors to resolve facility issues and support operational improvements.Ensure adherence to standard work, procedures, and asset management practices.Support planning and scheduling of maintenance activities and contractor oversight.Train, mentor, and develop facilities technicians; promote a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Minimum QualificationsExperience in facilities operations, maintenance, or building systems in an industrial, manufacturing, or semiconductor environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.Proven ability to lead technicians and direct day-to-day facility activities.Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Ability to troubleshoot complex facility or utility issues under time-critical conditions.Effective communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting semiconductor fab utilities and critical systems (e.g., CDA, UPW, toxic gas delivery, exhaust/scrubbers).Familiarity with CMMS systems, alarm monitoring software, or building management systems (BMS).Experience coordinating contractors and facility projects.Demonstrated success improving reliability, maintenance performance, or energy efficiency.Experience supervising or mentoring technical personnel in a 24x7 operations environment.Educational/Certification Requirement:High school diploma or equivalentAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering Technology, Mechanical/Electrical fields, or related technical disciplineRelevant certifications such as HVAC, electrical licensing, facility operations, or safety/environmental certificationsExperience Requirement:Training in Lean, Six Sigma, or maintenance excellence methodologies.Ultra Clean Technology is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
