TL Production - Cheraw 1 - 3rd Shift

Your Key Responsibilities 1. Lead production activities to ensure that products meet all requirements and to achieve KPIs agreed. 2. Determine manufacturing priorities to match weekly production schedules and make respective assignments. 3. Direct personnel actions, including selection, training, performance appraisal and safety procedures. 4. Direct routine equipment set-up and maintenance and check for accomplishment. 5. Establish instructions and refine procedures, when necessary, in order to contribute to improvements in QCD. 6. Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and safe work habits in all employees ð§ I n s u r e s a l l e m p l o y e e s a r e s a f e t y c e r t i f i e d ð§ I n s u r safety training 7. Responsible for creating a motivating atmosphere of trust and open communication where: 8. Monitors and evaluates KPI goals for the work area and holds each individual accountable 9. Monitors absenteeism - supports PL in appropriate disciplinary action when needed 10. Evaluation of employees - Provides feedback to manager for employee evaluation purposes and attends performance feedback 11. Understands the relevant processes of his/her area 12. Works in operator capacity to facilitate training of less experienced associates and to cover unplanned absenteeism or emergencies. 14. Has advanced technical skills and can perform change over, machine set up's and trouble shooting and machine repair. 15. Reports KPI's to management during the daily walks 16. Implements continuous improvement and cost saving activities 17. Responsible for conducting layered audits to insure employees are following SOP's / Work Procedures 18. Responsible for shift to shift communication and knowledge transfer regarding priority Your Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Prefer 2 year technical degree * will consider OTJ experience with Schaeffler * Will consider 3-5 years relevant experience in manufacturing * Experience as a multi skilled operator in his/her area of responsibility * Good knowledge of production processes, measurement and inspection procedures, production planning and control, MS-Office and SAP * Ability to work with others, collaborate and use persuasion to accomplish the work * Familiar with computer programs * Strong communication stills and able to resolve conflict
