Read more at Location: USA - South San Francisco, Littlefield Avenue Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Project Manager, Fairs & Events, Away Games - 106733 Time Type: Full TimePOSITION SUMMARY Responsible for freight management & operations for Away Games in USA for all Fairs and Event shipmentsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Management: Coordinating with overseas offices for sales leads / exhibitors list. Contacting all exhibitors to understand their logistics requirements and providing quotations based on the applicable local + overseas tariff + shipping guidelines. Securing individual exhibitors, Country pavilions / group participants and ELS updates.Operations & Freight Management: Responsible for end-to-end Fairs & Events Freight Management - ensuring timely handling of all Fairs & Events shipments, pre-alerts, document verification as per F&E Shipping Instructions & Country rules, coordinating with customs brokerage team for exports and vice-versa for re-imports.Financial management - Timely billing and collection including job opening and show OTHER DUTIES Performs other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES NoneMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or ExperienceDegree+Fairs & Events experience, preferable5+ years Freight Forwarding experience - Air, Sea, Road and Customs clearance - import & exportKey Accounts management, preferredGood communication skillsWilling to work for flexible working hours as per show requirementsWilling to travel to show venuesTeram playerCertificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional DesignationsNoneSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIESComputer SkillsProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Language SkillsEnglish (reading, writing, verbal)Mathematical SkillsIntermediateOtherEffective communication skills (all modes) that reflect a high level of professionalism.Capable of multitasking and performing general administrative skills.Completes work with limited degree of supervision. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
