QA Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. Candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in test automation to support both manual and automated validation of complex front‑end applications. Rate Range: $30/hour to $38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. QA Automation Engineer job responsibilities include: * Design and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications to ensure high‑quality delivery. * Implement effective testing strategies and automation frameworks to support end‑to‑end quality validation. * Coordinate with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to align testing activities with project needs. * Guide onshore and offshore QA teams to ensure smooth collaboration, knowledge sharing, and timely issue resolution. * Enhance overall testing processes by identifying gaps and introducing automation improvements were beneficial. * Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and continuous quality efforts. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. * 3-5 years of QA and automation experience. * Strong hands‑on proficiency in Java Selenium for UI automation along with mobile and API testing skills. * Proven ability to collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore QA teams while applying QA best practices in fast‑paced Agile environments.
