Job DescriptionMaintenance MechanicShift: 2nd (Monday-Friday) 2 PM - 10:30 PM or 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday) 10 PM - 6:30 AM Pay: $25/hour+ based on experience Job Description:A Maintenance Mechanic's responsibilities include keeping all production machinery in a "ready for service" condition by performing preventative maintenance, as scheduled by our maintenance management software, as well as taking care of day-to-day maintenance issues.Principle Duties & Responsibilities:Repair & maintain all plant machinery & equipmentDiagnose machine malfunctions & operating difficultiesDetermine need for & effect machine repairs & adjustments to maintain a reliable operationComplete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc.Ensure plant organization & cleanlinessMinimum Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience: 2+ years in maintenance work requiredHard Skills:Basic knowledge & skills in pneumatics, electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, rigging, equipment installation, machine rebuilding, motor & drive alignment, measuring equipment & fabricationRead blueprintsBe knowledgeable of all plant equipment & proceduresBasic computer skillsBasic math knowledgeEnglish reading, writing, & speaking proficiencySafety-focused mindset
