What You'll Do:Learn to operate and maintain multi-spindle screw machines by selecting tools, adjusting feeds and speeds, and loading raw materials (such as metal rods or bars)Interpret part drawings and instructions to produce accurate componentsUse measuring tools (like calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to confirm parts meet specifications.Perform quality inspections and follow machining processesFine-tune the machine or replace worn tools to maintain precision and productivityKeep your workspace clean and prioritize safety at all timesSupport the team with additional duties as needed What We're Looking For:High School diploma or equivalentAn understanding of how machines and tools work, even from automotive, HVAC, or maintenance experience.Previous experience running or monitoring production or packaging machines in any manufacturing setting.Ability to read blueprints and use shop mathematicsBasic troubleshooting such as identifying and correcting simple mechanical or quality issues.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to learn new things and be part of a teamAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbsGreat attitude!Great attendance!
