The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and have ASE & Ford certifications. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsAutomotive Technician Qualifications:2+ years of Automotive Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferredFord Certification preferredPrevious experience at a Ford dealership is preferredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbout Us:At Preston Ford of Aberdeen, part of Preston Automotive Group (PAG), we believe in nurturing talent at every level.
