The Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses to produce high-quality products efficiently. Join our team and be part of a dynamic work environment where your skills are valued and developed.Hours: 4:00pm -2:00am Monday thru Thursday and Fridays as needed to meet production requirements. A 10% shift differential is offered for this role. Responsibilities Set up and operate press machines according to job specificationsMonitor production to ensure quality standards are metPerform routine maintenance on pressesTroubleshoot issues with equipment and make adjustments as neededInspect finished products for defectsFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environmentRequirementsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent required Experience in press operation or similar manufacturing roles preferred Proficiency in programming and operating press machines preferredGood mechanical aptitude and skills - troubleshooting skills Strong mathematical skills for basic calculationsStrong work ethic safety conscious, and team player Familiarity with quality control processesPhysical RequirementsRegularly stand and walk for extended periods of timeRegularly work around moving machinery and heavy equipment Frequently required to push/pull Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch Regularly use vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
