Operations Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team in City of Industry, California. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in import operations and customer service. The role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex shipments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities: - Monitor and process customer orders for both international and domestic shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. - Provide detailed shipment updates and status reports to customers, agents, and overseas branch offices. - Handle a high volume of shipments, optimizing processes to improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with the Operations Team and Operations Manager to support key functions and resolve issues. - Address and resolve customer complaints or problems promptly and effectively. - Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, agents, and customers to maintain strong business relationships. - Offer guidance and leadership to the Operations Team, sharing expertise to foster growth and teamwork. - Demonstrate a positive and collaborative attitude while contributing to team success. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in import operations or customer service. - Proven ability to manage high volumes of shipments efficiently. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively. - Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, agents, and vendors. - Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and shared success. - Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. - Detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.
