Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Housekeeping Manager leads all housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic standards across guest suites and all public spaces. Working closely with the front of house team, this role upholds a culture of discreet and anticipatory service for all guests. The ideal candidate is a hands on leader who builds and mentors high performing teams, maintains rigorous quality standards, and embodies the sophistication and service excellence of the Skywalker brand.Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Guest Rooms & Property as a wholeSuite set up, furniture install, textiles, all pre arrival dutiesSchedule, oversee and inspect deep cleaningManage room upkeep and preventative maintenance for all site inspections, internal and externalProcurement and management of all guest room amenities, housekeeping tools and equipmentManagement of all housekeeping storage areas throughout propertyRegular inspection of unoccupied suites, identifying and reporting maintenance needsOversees all public area, outdoors, back of house areas including offices, winery, spa, gym, treatment rooms, theaters, dining locations (indoors and outdoors) Daily site check of all public and BOH areasContract Workforce ManagementAssign work duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanlinessManages regular cleaning schedules, deep cleans and maintenance of both common and private spacesInvestigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective actionCoordinates work activities in support of the operations of all other departmentsQuality check and update standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff as neededConducts training to ensure policy compliance, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment Make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficiency whenever possibleAttend staff meetings to discuss events, successes and opportunities.Issues supplies and equipment to workersPerforms cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortageAll Guest Experience areas - Work cross-functionally toRecruit & train new hires Develop & implement guidelines & control procedures for purchasing and receiving areasConduct daily property inspectionsManage budgeting and finances, ensuring timely submittal and accuracy of housekeeping related invoices, keeping costs to a minimum.
