Senior Software Engineer-ServiceNow

Key Responsibilities: * Design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations. * Collaborate with product management and business partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Perform system administration tasks, including scheduling and completion of platform maintenance, user management, and other duties as assigned. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides. * Following prescribed SDLC process to align with compliance commitments. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform and applications as needed * Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to ensure the platform is optimized and up to date. * Able to work independently with minimal guidance as well as in collaboration with overall team. * Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and other team members. Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on ITSM and ITOM modules. * Proven experience in designing and implementing custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. * Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including data model, security, and scripting. * Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. * ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable. * Experience developing and designing RESTful services and APIs. * Experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms. Preferred Skills: * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Experience developing in a CI/CD environment * Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. * Familiarity with other ITSM tools and platforms. * Experience with one or more front-end development frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, etc. * Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure) Educational Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
