Crew Leader Description:The Crew Leader is responsible for the day-to-day service on all assigned Grounds Guys maintenance and production teams. The crew leader will work with the Operations Manager to ensure all projects are completed professionally and efficiently. The crew leader must be able to lead and guide their team. The crew leader will adhere to and enforce Grounds Guys policy and follow all safety proceduresPay:Starting at $20.00 plus. Varies by qualifications and experience.Must Haves:Valid Drivers License and maintain a good driving recordAuthorized to work in the United StatesStrong communication and leadership skills. (Spanish Speaking is a Plus)Previous experience leading landscape crews or proven experience/ability showing you're ready to step up to this roleKnowledge of how to operate equipment from trimmers, mower, and mini skid steersThe ability to work in all weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basisAbility to work around outside environmental risk such as weather, bees, vegetation, snakesMust adhere and enforce all safety protocols including wearing PPEMust be able to pass a criminal background checkMust wear and enforce company uniform standardsBusiness Development Responsibilities:Marketing Grounds Guys services to existing and potential customers in the Market Area.Identifying additional service opportunities on existing customer contracts for evaluation and customer follow-up by the Operations Manager.Operational Responsibilities: Ensuring all customer service contracts are properly staffed, equipped, supplied and executed on a timely basis. Ensuring all tools, equipment, vehicles and supplies are properly utilized, maintained and stored. Proactively assisting the Operations Manager in identifying and resolving all customer service issues or concerns on a timely and proactive basis.Ensuring all safety rules are adhered to.Management Responsibilities :Monitoring the workplace and neutralizing any potential hazards that exist for Team members during the performance of their duties.Ensuring all employees are properly wearing PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Maintaining a safe working environment. Correcting unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.Assign work to Team members appropriate to their respective skill levels. Ensure such assignments include any special instructions as indicated in the LMN.Providing on-the-job coaching and counseling to Team members so that they have every opportunity to safely and efficiently perform their job duties and maximize Grounds Guys customer satisfaction.Ensuring the efficient and effective execution of customer services by Team members.Final inspection and sign-off of each property before leaving the site each day. (fill out the check list)May be required to attend seminars, trade shows, or other training sessions from time to time.Prepared to work long hours and on weekends when necessary.Manage Team members at the end of each shift and ensure all procedures are followed for the 5Ss procedure.Administrative Responsibilities: Use and maintenance of all software.Maintaining a neat, secure, well-maintained and adequately work station.Diligently perform all reporting functions on a routine and timely basis.
