The Restaurant Manager oversees all restaurant operations. Managers train personnel, consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service, and quickly resolve problems. The position requires flexible hours and night/weekend/holiday availability as needed.Essential Functions Oversee all aspects of food production and customer service Consistently demonstrate adherence to company policies and procedures Maintain cooking equipment and utensils Assist with food prep and cleaning Cook and prepare customer orders Recruit, hire, and train store personnel Schedule employees within labor budget Resolve customer concerns Mediate employee grievances Evaluate and counsel employees Review and submit daily reports Maintain site appearance standards Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all areas Submit and manage maintenance requests Implement and enforce all health and safety requirements Order product and control merchandise inventories Conduct and submit inventory counts Monitor P&L reports to maintain expected margins Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, & company policies Report to work on short notice to address emergencies and cover employee callouts Other duties as requiredEducation and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; secondary degree preferred 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a QSR or deli environment Working knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices Knowledge of financial reporting and inventory management systemsBasic Qualifications & Physical Requirements 18+ years of age Valid driver license & reliable transportation Excellent communication in English (hear, speak, read, & write) Verifiable references and work history Outgoing and friendly demeanor Willingness to work flexible hours Ability to understand and follow a series of instructions Intermediate math skills involving weights, decimals, financial reports Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances Continuously stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours Climb a step ladder, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouch Count and weigh product; calculate basic math using decimals and fractions Perform inventory, order, & audit functions on a tablet Read and follow a series of instructions Withstand cold temperatures for short periods of time, such as when stocking freezers Basic computer proficiency including email and Microsoft Office programs Work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment Preferred: Manager Food Handler Certification
