RIA Operations Manager | Walnut Creek

Description Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half's Financial Services Division is partnering with an established East Bay RIA managing over $4B in AUM to hire an Operations Manager to lead a team of talented Client Service Associates. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager or Lead CSA with prior management experience who enjoys building efficient processes, leading teams, and supporting a growing wealth management firm. Responsibilities + Oversee day-to-day operations supporting advisors and high-net-worth clients + Manage and mentor a team of Client Service Associates, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability + Streamline, document, and maintain workflows for client service, onboarding, and reporting + Identify and implement process improvements to support the firm's continued growth + Oversee client onboarding, account administration, and account transfers + Ensure operations adhere to regulatory and internal compliance standards + Manage and optimize CRM, portfolio reporting, and workflow automation systems + Drive system integrations, automation initiatives, and implementation of AI tools where applicable Requirements + Bachelor's degree required + 7+ years of client service or operations experience within an SEC-registered investment adviser, wealth management firm, or similar environment + Prior team leadership or management experience preferred + Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously + Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Benefits & Perks + Medical, Dental, Vision: 100% employer-paid coverage + 401(k) Plan + Holiday Office Closures: All major holidays plus Christmas week + 3 weeks PTO + Flexible work environment If you are interested in learning more about the firm and team, please send Jennifer Fukumae a message on LinkedIn to schedule a conversation.
