Job DescriptionPosition Title: Legal InternshipLocation: Dallas, TXAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join Digital Realty's Legal team for the summer (~10 weeks). This role is intended for law students interested in gaining hands-on experience within an in-house legal function at a global, publicly traded real estate and infrastructure company.The Legal team supports a broad range of matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracting, real estate transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The intern will work closely with experienced attorneys and gain exposure to how legal teams partner with the business to support strategic and operational objectives.What You'll DoConduct legal research and support issue analysis across corporate, commercial, and regulatory mattersAssist attorneys with contract review, document analysis, and legal drafting supportSupport corporate governance and compliance activities, including preparation and organization of materialsAssist with drafting internal legal memos, summaries, and presentationsSupport cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Tax, HR, and OperationsParticipate in team and global meetings to understand the role of Legal in a global organizationWhat You'll NeedCurrently pursuing a JD degree or enrolled in an accredited law schoolStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to synthesize complex legal concepts and communicate them clearlyHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detailStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and OutlookImportant NoteThis internship is intended to provide educational and professional development experience and does not involve the practice of law or the provision of legal advice.A bit about usDigital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
