This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations, with a strong emphasis on general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and account reconciliations. The position also supports Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and contributes to audit, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, values accuracy, and wants to grow within a hands-on, team-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingSupport month-end close activities, including journal entries and accrualsReconcile general ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedulesAssist with annual financial audits and tax reporting supportSupport government census and survey reportingReview, classify, and ensure approval of employee expense reportsMaintain and update approved supplier and customer data in the ERP systemParticipate in process improvement and automation initiativesAssist with internal control and separation-of-duties processesComplete special projects as assignedAccounts Receivable SupportAssist with discrepancy research and resolutionSupport collections activities and customer follow-upHelp prepare AR aging and related reportsMaintain accurate and confidential customer recordsSupport expense report and company credit card reconciliation reportingAccounts Payable SupportAssist with vendor statement reconciliations and discrepancy resolutionSupport weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) as neededGenerate invoice deduction notices when requiredHelp identify process efficiencies and cost-saving opportunitiesAssist with AP automation and control environment improvementsSupport AP accruals and month-end tasksWhy Join UsHands-on, growth-oriented accounting roleBroad exposure across GL, AP, AR, audit, and reportingCollaborative finance and operations partnershipOpportunity to contribute to process improvement and automation initiativesIf you're a motivated accounting professional who enjoys accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply.RequirementsQualificationsRequiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1-2 years of accounting experience in AP, AR, or general accounting Working knowledge of accounting principles, debits, and credits Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations preferred Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee) PreferredEpicor ERP experience Compensation Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position. These may include skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
