High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of heat treating experience. Have basic working knowledge of metallurgy, temperatures, etc. May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends. Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification. Able to demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Day-to-Day: Assists with operations, control, and monitoring of heat treating and related equipment as required and as written in procedures on shop traveler and/or customer paperwork. Prepares work for processing; loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc . Bring any unusual problem or irregularity to the attention of the supervisor. Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping. Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers' inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
