Job # : 156035 Title : Welder/Fabricator Location : Fountain Inn, SC Salary Range : $20.00 - $25.00 / Hour Position : Welder Description : Welder/FabricatorOpSource has partnered with a company that focuses on repairing shipping racks and containers located in Fountain Inn, SC.Pay for the position:$20.00 - $25.00 / HrShifts for the position:1 st - Monday - Friday - 40 hoursJob requirements for the position may include:Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that's being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squaresPlace each product component in its appropriate spot as noted in the blueprints for proper alignment by using a hammer, pry bar, jack, wedge or another toolMark spots to cut and use tools to manipulate steel, plastic or other materials by cutting, hammering, bending or grinding the workpieceEmploy furnaces or hand torches to heat up materials to make them more flexible for bending or manipulation into the correct specificationReview blueprints, drawings and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completionManeuver fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears and flame cutters to cut, bend, grind and adjust materialsMake templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work qualityQualifications for the position:Must pass basic Mig Plate Test in Horizontal and Vertical positionsCreative/Critical thinking to repair damaged racksMust be able to work independentlyHigh school diploma or a GED equivalentExperience in fabrication is preferredAbility to comprehend blueprints and work specificationsPhysical ability to lift at least 75 pounds or more#ST Requirements : Job Type : Temp to Hire Post Date : 02/25/2026
