The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications. This role requires strong expertise in Drupal 8/9/10 development, site-building, theming, and module development, as well as a deep understanding of best practices in web development.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.- Design and implement new features, enhancements, and custom functionalities in Drupal 8/9/10.- Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to create responsive and user-friendly websites.- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code, adhering to Drupal coding standards and best practices.- Develop custom modules to meet project-specific requirements.- Perform site-building activities, including content types, taxonomies, views, and menus.- Integrate third-party APIs and services with Drupal applications.- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing Drupal sites.- Stay updated on the latest Drupal updates, trends, and security patches.- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions on time.**Required Skills and Qualifications:**- **Experience:** 5+ years of professional experience in Drupal development.- **Drupal Expertise:** Strong knowledge of Drupal 8/9/10, including theming, module development, and site building.- **Programming Languages:** Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Twig templating.- **Frameworks:** Familiarity with Symfony or other PHP frameworks.- **Front-End Development:** Experience with responsive design, Bootstrap, and modern front-end technologies (e.g., Sass, LESS, React, Vue.js).- **Database Management:** Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.- **Version Control:** Experience with Git and version control workflows.- **Tools & Platforms:** Familiarity with Acquia Cloud, Pantheon, or similar hosting environments.- **Debugging & Optimization:** Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other issues.- **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.**Preferred Skills:**- Knowledge of Decoupled/Headless Drupal implementations.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.- Exposure to Drupal Commerce or other e-commerce platforms.- Understanding of SEO and accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
