ViaQuest Shared Living Providers: Assist adults with developmental disabilities Provide a safe and supportive home (The person you care for lives in your home with you. The home must be your primary residence and owned or rented by you.) Give individualized care to meet the person's daily needs Care for a family member or an unrelated person (If you will not be caring for someone you already know, ViaQuest gives you opportunities to work with people who are eligible, compatible with you, and want Shared Living Services.) Live with partners, with children, and alone Have time to themselves when the person they care for works, attends day programs, enjoys time alone, visits family, and receives respite.ViaQuest provides: Training, background checks, and certification A tax-free stipend between $35,000 to $60,000 yearly - with paid time off Billing and payroll Simple tools to document your work Management of state compliance audits and reports Assistance from a dedicated ViaQuest Manager Communication with Board of Developmental Disabilities Services staff You also receive monthly room and board payments directly from who you care for, averaging $630Responsibilities of a ViaQuest Shared Living Provider: Supply a private, furnished bedroom and welcoming common areas in the home Assist with daily living (for example, personal care, cooking, and cleaning) Supervise, guide, model, and remind as needed Schedule and attend medical appointments and fun social activities Keep accurate records of work and incidentsTo qualify, you must pass a housing screening and have a high school diploma/GED, a clean background check, home insurance, an insured vehicle, and a good driving record.
