This role collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and Order Management to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective sourcing of products and components.Key Responsibilities Create and process purchase orders using SAP ERP Monitor and manage open order reports to ensure on-time delivery Research product lines, pricing, availability, and supplier capabilities Request and evaluate vendor quotes based on cost, specifications, and suitability Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data Act as liaison between suppliers, internal teams, and contractors Review orders for compliance and prepare reports Troubleshoot invoice discrepancies Support reverse logistics and related purchasing functionsQualifications High School Diploma or GED (required) AA/AS or coursework in purchasing, accounting, or related field (preferred) Bachelor's degree (a plus)Skills & Experience Experience in purchasing, buying, or supply chain roles SAP experience strongly preferred Knowledge of sourcing, supplier evaluation, and commodity markets Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams Familiarity with SharePoint Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings Strong written and verbal communication skills APICS CPIM certification (preferred, not required) Team-oriented with a proactive, "can-do" mindsetPhysical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, and walking Regular use of hands for handling and reaching Constant computer use (close visual focus) Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs
