Mechanical Engineer II

Description:NTE: $77.50/hr. In Person- Mon-Fri We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will contribute to resolving complex engineering challenges and participate in the design and development of our next-generation products. This position requires a background in mechanical design, particularly with injection molded plastics, a high level of proficiency in CREO 3D CAD software, and a solid understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles. Key Responsibilities • Contribute to the mechanical design of new products-from understanding customer needs and initial concept, through to production and final packaging. • Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for parts and assemblies using CREO. • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to ensure that designs are optimized for production, cost, and quality. • Design and analyze complex injection molded plastic parts, ensuring performance and efficient, high-yield production. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial design, electrical engineering, and manufacturing, to deliver integrated product solutions. • Develop and execute test plans to validate design performance and reliability. • Contribute to internal design reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.
