Job Description:We are hiring an IT Site Support Specialist to ensure seamless day-to-day IT Operations. The role involves providing technical support through various channels, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining an inventory of IT assets. The Specialist will collaborate with local and central IT teams, lead site-specific IT initiatives, and contribute to process development. Strong problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence IT policies are essential. The role requires flexibility, on-call availability, and occasional travel.Responsibilities:Provide technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and tech tools, including Office 365/Office 2013. Meet and communicate with users to efficiently solve issues. Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software assets. Assist end-users with computing and telecommunication issues. Utilize remote support tools to resolve requests. Ensure timely closure of problem tickets. Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned. Collaborate with different IT Towers to address site-specific IT needs. Work closely with local site management to align IT plans and site needs. Provide leadership and direction to junior helpdesk technicians. Engage with local service providers and IT suppliers for optimal service. Be on call, travel as needed, and demonstrate flexibility.Qualifications and Skills: Leadership capabilities to lead the local site's IT activities. Associates Degree or equivalent with 4+ years of field experience. 4+ years of experience in Help Desk or Desktop Support. Proficient in setting up and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite products. Experience with Windows 8.1 and above operating systems. A+, Microsoft certifications, or other IT-related certifications are a plus. Understanding of VPNs, Wi-Fi profiles, Telecom/VOIP is advantageous. Microsoft Windows Image Deployment and PowerShell scripting experience. Familiarity with Remote Desktop Support Tools and ticketing systems. Ability to set up and troubleshoot network printers. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Self-motivated with excellent multitasking skills. Time management skills to complete projects on schedule.
