Join a team that's building reliable, open, and sustainable charging infrastructure.What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)Be the first call that keeps chargers charging: troubleshoot AC/DC EVSE, diagnose faults, and deliver resolutions with precision.Own the case, close the loop: log, track, and resolve issues in Salesforce Service Cloud to meet SLAs.Turn data into answers: analyze OCPP logs, PCAPs, SLAC tests, and network traces to find root causes.Level up the ecosystem: deliver hands-on training to customers, partners, and technicians in Zerova's certification program.Collaborate across teams: work with R&D and third-party SLA partners to drive continuous product improvement.Be field-ready: travel primarily within CA/West Coast, with occasional nationwide assignments.What You BringAssociate's in EE/Electronics or related field (Bachelor's preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience.2+ years in EVSE, power electronics, or field technical support/maintenance.Solid knowledge of:AC/DC power systems: 208/480V 3-phase, low-voltage controlsNetworking: TCP/IP, OCPP, VPNs, cellular connectivitySafety: NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70EProficient with service/ticketing tools (Salesforce Service Cloud preferred).Strong communicator with customers, electricians, and third-party providers.Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work safely in field environments, and follow procedures.Nice-to-have: EVITP, NABCEP, or OEM EVSE certifications (not mandatory).Why Zerova (Benefits & Growth)Competitive salary + KPI-driven bonus program (performance & service metrics).Medical, dental, vision coverage.401(k) with company contribution.PTO and paid company holidays.Structured career path to Senior Technician and FAE roles.Certification support & ongoing technical training (EVITP, OCPP, manufacturer-specific).Work with advanced diagnostic platforms and AI-driven service tools; participate in interoperability testing and collaborate globally.Mileage reimbursement & travel expenses covered.Build the future with a global EVSE leader growing U.S. operations and launching a new engineering center in 2026.How to ApplyEmail your resume and a brief cover letter to careers@ with the subject line: "EV Charger Support Technician - Fremont."
