Senior Underwriter Location: North Miami Beach, FL Compensation: $125K–$200K OTE A high-growth specialty finance platform serving small and mid-sized businesses is hiring a Senior Underwriter to drive credit quality across both MCA and private credit products. This is a high-impact underwriting seat focused on making fast, disciplined decisions that protect portfolio performance while supporting sustainable originations. What You'll Do • Underwrite and decision MCA and private credit opportunities using bank statements, cash flow, and credit data • Structure terms and conditions aligned to risk policy and return targets • Approve, decline, or counter with clear rationale and strong credit judgment • Evaluate layered risk factors across borrower profile, payment behavior, and deal structure • Partner with sales/originations to maintain speed without compromising credit quality • Identify risk/fraud signals early and escalate appropriately • Monitor portfolio trends and provide feedback that improves guidelines and decision consistency • Help reinforce underwriting standards and best practices across the team What We're Looking For • 4+ years of underwriting experience in MCA, SMB lending, fintech lending, or specialty finance • Strong ability to assess cash flow quality and repayment capacity • Experience balancing volume, speed, and disciplined risk management • Confidence making decisions on imperfect/real-world files (not just clean paper) • Strong communication and ability to explain decisions clearly to cross-functional teams • Must be comfortable working fully on-site in North Miami Beach, FL Why This Role • Direct impact on portfolio quality and company performance • Exposure to both MCA and private credit underwriting • Opportunity to shape underwriting outcomes in a fast-moving lending environment
