Welder/Metal Fabricator (Maintenance)

Job Summary The Metal Fabricator repairs and fabricates a variety of processing equipment and components utilized in our aggregate and ready-mix plants. Compensation Hourly $46.30 Responsibilities * Uses a wide variety of skills to maintain or repair equipment used to process aggregates, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders and pumps * Fabricates and assembles structural metal products, such as frameworks or shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks and metal parts for buildings and bridges * Ensures a safe work environment, following company's policies and procedures Education High school diploma/GED Requirements/Qualifications * Experience with AWS certification, lathes, milling machines and other related equipment * Able to read plans and blueprints * Experience with shears, benders and other metal works equipment * Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel * Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team * Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights, in tight spaces and awkward positions * 5 years' experience as a certified welder preferred Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
