Job Title: Procurement Category Contractor Contract Length: 12+ Months 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Location: Tampa, FL Position Overview Provide analytical and administrative support for category management and sourcing activities. Assist in preparing sourcing events, analyzing supplier proposals, and maintaining accurate procurement data. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Collect and analyze spend data, supplier metrics, and market trends Prepare reports and dashboards Assist in drafting RFQs/RFPs and bid packages Maintain contract records and process amendments Support day-to-day supplier communication Verify supplier compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation Identify opportunities to streamline data management and reporting Escalate complex problems to Category Specialist or Manager Qualifications Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field Licenses/Certifications Preferred: CPSM, CIPS, or working toward certification Experience Required: 3 years of procurement or supply chain experiencePreferred: Experience with eSourcing tools Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA) Required: Strong analytical skills Advanced Excel skills Familiarity with ERP systems Detail-oriented Strong organizational and communication skills Preferred: Basic understanding of procurement regulations and contract terms Leadership Competencies Speaks up on Safety, Health and the Environment Takes Ownership and Acts with Integrity Drives Operational Excellence for Customers Builds Strong, Collaborative Relationships Develops People and Teams Cultivates Innovation and Embraces Change Thinks Strategically and Exercises Sound Judgment Working Conditions Office environment with meetings in various locations.
