Job Title: Revit Drafter Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Piping/Plumbing Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Revit and experience using the software for detailing and basic designs. Responsibilities * Develop detailed designs and layouts for mechanical piping and plumbing systems using Revit. * Interpret project specifications and blueprints to create accurate technical drawings. * Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other project team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards. * Conduct site visits to measure and document existing conditions for accurate piping drawings. * Assist with the preparation of material take-offs and bill of materials. * Participate in design review meetings and address any issues or changes in the piping design. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and techniques in the field. Essential Skills * Interest in Revit and some experience with the software for detailing and basic designs. * Strong knowledge of mechanical piping and plumbing construction methods. * Ability to create spool and installation drawings. * Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members. * Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. * A minimum of 3 years of experience with Revit (does not need to be professional). * A minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical or Plumbing, Bluebeam (does not need to be professional). Additional Skills & Qualifications * Mechanical degree desired. * Provide drafting/modeling support for the Engineering and VCS departments as needed. * Basic understanding or interest in Revit standards through the modeling/drafting process. * Capable of reading contract drawings for reference. * Aid in the setup and processing of 3D referenced models for VCS team coordination. * Annotate and prepare shop drawings for A/E review through IFC. The work is detailed, technical, and impactful, offering full-cycle project involvement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynnwood, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
