Role: Senior Business Analyst Location: 100% Remote Employment Type: ContractPreferred Experience: Previous experience working with Cardinal Health Experience Level: 15+ YearsJob Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-level initiatives in a healthcare supply-chain environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Cardinal Health or similar organizations (McKesson, AmerisourceBergen, Medline), with deep understanding of business workflow analysis, functional requirements gathering, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting solution design for complex operational programs.Key Responsibilities Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct current-state vs. future-state gap analysis and define process improvements. Develop BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Data Mapping, and functional models. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs with business & technical teams. Support solution design discussions and clarify requirements for development and QA teams. Participate in UAT planning, test case review, and execution support. Ensure all documentation meets compliance, audit, and traceability standards. Assist in project planning, stakeholder communication, and change management efforts. Required Experience & Skills 15+ years of overall IT experience 8-12+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst. Preferred: Prior experience working with Cardinal Health or major healthcare distribution / medical supply-chain companies. Strong understanding of order management, inventory, procurement, logistics, or healthcare operations workflows. Proven experience writing clear functional requirements for enterprise systems. Ability to work in Cross-functional / Matrixed corporate environments. Strong communication & stakeholder management skills (executive + operational levels). Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodology. Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, Visio, Excel, and requirement modeling tools. BPM, CBAP, Six Sigma, or similar certification is a plus (not required).
