The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and possesses both experience with, and a passion for, building design. Responsibilities include providing planning and design in the development of small/medium/large multi-family projects. Day to Day Responsibilities: Play a strategic role in advancing the quality of design in the firmOversee/mentor Project Designers and staff interested in designPrepare presentation materials and participate in design presentations to clients through the course of the projectCollaborate with the in-house project team and others to develop the design and maintain design integrity during DD, CD, and CA phasesCollaborate with Team Leader and/or Senior Project Managers to understand and solve client design goalsCoordinate project designsMaintain a functional knowledge of current building and zoning codesPerform other duties that may be assigned from time to time What we look for:Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited universityA portfolio that demonstrates a strong design aptitude Experience with multi-family and mixed-used projects preferred Professional licensure preferred Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic softwareRevit experience preferredMinimum 10 years of professional experience Excellent communication, written, and presentation skillsAbility to interact positively with others, to solve problems, and to constructively communicate those solutions We offer a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, supplementary insurance, flexible spending, and 401k with employer contribution.
