The Water Processing Technician is responsible for operating the water treatment and processing equipment as well as monitoring, testing, and optimizing the water used in Cirkul's bottling operations. This person plays a critical part in ensuring our water meets strict quality, safety, and formulation standards before it ever reaches the line.This role oversees incoming water, water treatment, and processing, including all equipment, testing, and batching of water to meet Cirkul's product specifications. Working at the intersection of quality, operations, and food safety, the Water Quality Technician helps ensure every bottle starts with perfectly balanced, high-quality water.What does an average day look like? Driving Results: Ensures equipment is operating at sufficient capacity to support the bottling operation.Ensures water consistently meets Cirkul quality and formulation standardsMinimizes production downtime by proactively identifying and correcting water issuesMaintains accurate, audit-ready documentation and testing recordsSupports safe, efficient, and compliant plant operationsTaking Ownership: Owns daily monitoring and performance of water treatment and mineralization systemsProactively flags trends or abnormalities in water qualityMaintains a clean, organized, and compliant work areaTreats water quality as a critical control point in the production processMaking Decisions: Determines when mineral adjustments or treatment changes are requiredEscalates out-of-spec conditions and helps implement corrective actionsPrioritizes testing and system checks based on production needsUses data and SOPs to guide technical decisionsCultivating Relationships: Works closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teamsPartners with QA on testing protocols and compliance standardsCommunicates clearly across shifts to ensure continuitySupports a team-first, safety-first plant environmentInstilling Trust: Follows GMP, food safety, and plant safety standards at all timesMaintains precise, reliable testing and documentation practicesConsistently delivers accurate data that teams can rely onDemonstrates integrity in quality and compliance processesCustomer Focus: Understands that water quality directly impacts product taste and brand trustHelps ensure every bottle meets Cirkul's standards for quality and consistencySupports a culture where quality is never compromisedWhat background should you have? Experience in water treatment, beverage manufacturing, food & beverage, utilities, or quality/lab environmentsFamiliarity with water testing methods (pH, TDS, hardness, alkalinity, conductivity, etc.)Experience with filtration systems, reverse osmosis (RO), UV, or mineral dosing systems preferredMechanical skills including performing CIPs, replacing membranes, pump seals, small pumps, and correcting leaks.Understanding of GMP and food safety environmentsStrong attention to detail and recordkeeping skillsComfortable working in a production/manufacturing settingAbility to follow SOPs and troubleshoot technical equipmentWhat do we offer?
