About the JobAbout the Job:We are a design firm specializing in Residential & Commercial design, located in Sherman Oaks. We are currently looking for an experienced Drafter and expediter. The ideal candidate is well-versed in AutoCAD/Revit with experience in drafting plans, sections, elevations, details, etc. The ability to read and comprehend architectural and structural drawings is a must. Knowledge of local residential and commercial building codes and the ability to use SketchUp is a plus.Go back and forth to the city.Requirements:Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD is a must. NO EXCEPTIONS.Ability to read and understand both residential and commercial architectural and structural plans.Computer savvy (Outlook, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, etc.).Must be able to multitask, meet changing deadlines and work well under pressure.Must be punctual and a quick learner.Knowledge of local building codes is a plus.Must know rendering.California residents only.Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
