Job Brief1 OpeningPay Range: CENTRAL SUPPLY TECH I - $21.28 to $28.72Job Summary: Central Supply Tech I The Central Supply Technician is responsible for issuing all supplies as requested and timely completing the appropriate data entry for issues and returns. The Central Supply Technician I is responsible for issuing and delivering all medical supplies and equipment as requested. The CS tech is also responsible for maintaining set par-levels at various inventory locations throughout the hospital. Licensure and Certification: Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) Certification preferred.Education: Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalentExperience: 6 months of hospital work, preferably in central service or materials management experienceKnowledge and Skills: Customer service skills Effective communication skills Problem solving skills PC and PrinterMeditech experience a plusPhysical Demands - Clerical/Administrative Non-Patient Care:Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level.Occasional/intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level.Occasional/intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, twisting, and climbing.Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.Key for Physical DemandsContinuous66 to 100% of the timeFrequent33 to 65% of the timeOccasional0 to 32% of the timeJob Summary: Central Supply Tech IIThe Central Supply Technician II is responsible for issuing all supplies as requested and timely completing the appropriate data entry for issues and returns.
