Facilities Maintenance Helper

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance HelperLocation: Los Alamitos, CASchedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMPay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (DOE)Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Helper to assist with daily facility upkeep, preventive maintenance tasks, and general support activities. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone with basic maintenance experience and a strong willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Perform basic preventive maintenance (PM) on machines and facility equipment Assist with painting, patching, and surface repairs throughout the facility Conduct minor equipment repairs under supervision Provide cleaning and housekeeping support for production and common areas Safely operate a company vehicle (Class C license required) for errands and deliveries picking up bearing retainers from suppliers weighing from 1/4lb to 3lbs. Support various EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) activities Assist with miscellaneous facility projects and general labor tasks Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Climb ladders, lift equipment, and perform physical tasks as neededRequirements: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Per ITAR Requirements Must have a HS Diploma or GED Valid Class C driver's license Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools Comfortable with physical labor, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or similar work preferred Strong work ethic and self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude Ability to follow safety procedures and work in compliance with EHS standards
