Facilities project Engineer

Summary: This Position oversees the reliability, and efficiency of machinery and facility equipment; develops proactive maintenance strategies, leads technical troubleshooting, manages repairs to minimize downtime, ensures regulatory compliance, and supervises contractors to enhance operational efficiency. Essential Functions: * Oversees contractors to ensure safety and accuracy of work * Coordinates the identification and procurement of new equipment. Obtains specifications and design information of new equipment * Identifies and implements options for equipment retrofits and repairs * Collaborates with cross functional teams for process improvement initiatives * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. * 4+ years of relevant experience. * Experience with manufacturing and operations equipment * Project management/PMP certification highly preferred * Change Management experience * Equipment design and rebuild experience * Solidworks/Autocad * CapEx Management experience
