Quality Technician - Holt Area

By connecting with Pivot Group, you position yourself for roles that match your background and aspirations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.Conduct various tests on materials and products using calibrated inspection equipment and laboratory instruments.Document inspection and test results accurately, maintaining detailed quality records and logs.Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials and products, initiating non-conformance reports.Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective/preventive actions.Perform routine calibration and maintenance checks on inspection and test equipment.Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).Recommended QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.Familiarity with quality control methodologies such as SPC and root cause analysis.Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and reporting.Bonus QualificationsASQ certification (e.g., CQT, CQI)Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certificationExperience with CMM programming or operationProficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab)Knowledge of advanced problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA)Job Titles That Should ApplyQuality Technician, QA Technician, QC Technician, Quality Control Technician, Quality Inspector, Inspection Technician, Quality Associate, Manufacturing Quality TechnicianWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
