Job Title: Engineering Manager Job Type: Onsite -Contract Duration: 3 months Location: Nashville, TN, 37076Job Description Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead high-visibility projects and drive delivery of scalable, customer-centric software solutions. This role combines technical leadership + active coding + team management in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Responsibilities Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality, outcome-driven solutions Stay hands-on with coding, design, and code reviews Drive architecture, system design, and engineering best practices Implement Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD methodologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Security, Infrastructure) Ensure high standards in code quality, performance, and scalability Support modern deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary, MVP releases) Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 10+ years of software engineering experience 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams Strong hands-on experience with: Frontend: Angular, React Backend: Node.js, Python, C#, .NET Core, Golang Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases Expertise in system design, OOP/OOD, and architecture 5+ years of experience with Azure cloud (PaaS, FaaS, microservices) Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, GitHub, ADO, SonarQube Experience working in Agile/SAFe/Lean environments Preferred Skills 3+ years of experience in AI/ML or GenAI What We're Looking For Strong technical leader who is hands-on and delivery-focused Experience in product engineering from design to deployment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
