Optical Test Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and maintain test systems, processes and procedures for the characterization of integrated optoelectronic devices and LIDAR systems. * Write MATLAB/Python/LabVIEW code for test system development and for the analysis and presentation of test data. * Generate test plans and work instructions. * Write test reports. * Setup and configure test systems, execute tests and train engineers and technicians to perform tests. * Manage test technicians. * Specify and purchase lab equipment and materials required for testing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Master's Degree in engineering or a related field. * 3+ years of relevant electrooptical test experience, including knowledge of free space optics and optical alignment to fiber/waveguide devices. * Ability to adapt and operate under tight deadlines. * Strong communication skills. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS * Experience of working with LIDAR systems
