Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Insurance Defense Attorney will represent insurance companies in defending claims brought against policyholders. The role involves handling a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and other insurance-related disputes. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, a solid understanding of insurance law, and the ability to provide effective legal counsel to clients.Key Responsibilities:Case Management: Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.Litigation: Represent clients in court, including trials, hearings, and depositions. Prepare and argue motions, conduct depositions, and develop litigation strategies.Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the case to provide updates and discuss case strategy.Legal Research: Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
