Staff Accountant

Ideal candidates are analytical, organized, and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.Core ResponsibilitiesReview monthly financial reports to verify accuracy, integrity, and complianceComplete monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts within the general ledgerContribute to the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and analyzing variancesEnsure all reconciliation support and workpapers are clearly organized and properly documentedInvestigate variances or inconsistencies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them efficientlyProvide audit support by compiling schedules and supplying requested documentationParticipate in identifying and implementing improvements to accounting processes to drive greater efficiency and accuracyRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related disciplineOne to three years of relevant accounting experience preferredStrong working knowledge of accounting systems, including QuickBooks Online, and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)High level of accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to manage competing deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
