The Account Executive is responsible for interacting with customers and prospects on an executive level and acting as an extension of the client; selling new services, understanding and communicating agreed upon expectations to all teams, and increasing the market share of business by providing stellar service that meets and exceeds customer expectations, showing commitment to customer goals, and introducing/selling/implementing services.This is a remote position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Presenting CorVel's services to prospective customersKnowledge of CorVel's services and the disability compensation systemAttend a minimum of 10 monthly sales callsAttend monthly sales strategy meeting with managerMeet or exceed sales goals established by management for the marketplace/branch officeExplore all lines of coverage and needs within existing accounts and new accountsAll opportunities documented in - minimum of 25 opportunitiesProspect Calls - target of 50 prospect calls per week, documented in Prospect Meetings - 3-5 per week, documented in Responsible for daily entry and maintenance of all sales activity in Submission of commission spreadsheets by the 20th of each monthRespond to Request for Proposals either independently for smaller, local RFP's or with assistance from the RFP DepartmentExhibit at conferences as approved by managementAdditional duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Knowledge of the insurance industry, managed care, or related field is helpfulReliable professional with the ability to achieve balance between customer needs and a results-driven approachBusiness acumen, coupled with enthusiasm and decorumExcellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationshipsStrong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer serviceAble to work collaboratively and independentlyHighly developed organizational abilities as well as analytical and time management skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CRM software (Salesforce), and other technology as requestedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business or sales/marketing Proven sales track record requiredPAY RANGE:CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
